Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Somavo, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Somavo for an organization or team, you represent that you have authority to do so.

What Somavo Does

Somavo helps users practice communication moments by recording sessions, reviewing speaking patterns, aligning transcripts with timing and Apple Watch intensity, and generating preparation or coaching prompts. Somavo is a productivity and coaching tool, not a healthcare, emergency, employment, legal, or professional certification service.

No Medical Advice

Somavo does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any disease or health condition. Heart-rate or intensity context is provided only for self-awareness during rehearsal. Do not rely on Somavo for medical decisions or emergencies.

Your Content

You are responsible for the recordings, transcripts, resumes, job posts, notes, profile context, and other materials you provide. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or process that content. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant Somavo the limited rights needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the features you choose to use.

Interview Prep and AI Output

AI-generated briefs, questions, risk areas, answer angles, and coaching suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Somavo does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview performance, or professional results.

Privacy and Permissions

Your use of Somavo is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Some features require access to protected device resources such as microphone, speech recognition, Health or Apple Watch signals, notifications, or files. You can grant or revoke permissions through Apple system settings, though some features may stop working without them.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend access to protect users, the service, or the public.

Subscriptions and App Store Purchases

Paid features may be purchased through the App Store or another approved billing flow. App Store purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's applicable terms. Feature availability may vary by plan, platform, region, and release stage.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use Somavo to violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or workplace rules.
• Do not upload sensitive third-party information unless you have permission and a lawful basis to do so.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, or bypass the service.
• Do not use Somavo to generate deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, unsafe, or unlawful content.

Team Workspaces

Team features may allow selected content to be shared with other users or administrators. Be careful before sharing practice sessions or materials. Team owners may control access, retention, or deletion of certain workspace records.

Service Changes

Somavo is evolving. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that every feature will remain available forever.

Disclaimers

Somavo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Somavo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some terms may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using Somavo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or use the service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
